Burglar-resistant windows and doors should be chosen right from the start for any new development or when renovating residential buildings. Since the end of 2015, the Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW) (German Reconstruction Loan Cooperation) has been offering attractive grants under programme number 455. Condition for receiving these grants: A specialist company must carry out the installation, which may only be carried out after approval.
