What do we stand for?
How energy efficiency becomes climate protection Sustainability
With hardly any other component of the building shell has the technology for energy savings progressed faster over the past few years than with the window. Weru and Unilux played a major role in this. Our windows achieve thermal insulation values that are approaching that of solid masonry. They easily satisfy the stringent requirements of the Energy Saving Ordinance (EnEV). But not only with our products do we make a valuable contribution to climate protection. In our plants too we are committed to sustainability and responsibility towards the environment:

- Environmentally friendly inert gases for the sake of the environment
Weru stopped using sulphur hexafluoride gas to improve acoustic insulation values and started exclusively using the inert gases argon and krypton at the end of 2003. - Resourceful use of materials
Our production runs with optimised offcut waste. This means that even in the work preparation stage we calculate how the materials (profiles and glazing) should be cut to minimise offcuts and waste. Waste is sent back to the supplier where it is shredded and reused.
You can count on it Quality
Weru epitomises premium-quality windows and doors: From the initial product concept to the final quality check. Thus, for example, our development departments work solely with state-of-the-art technology and cooperate with specialised suppliers. In our production facilities we combine the greatest manual precision with computer-controlled machines.
Strict quality controls guarantee the lasting functional reliability of your Weru and Unilux windows. You will receive top-notch consulting and installation services from our wide network of authorised specialist dealers who are also available to provide you with aftersales service — you can be sure to find one near you.
- High-quality manufacture and installation for long life
Together with our specialist dealers, we are setting an example in satisfying customer-specific requirements for thermal insulation, acoustic protection, ventilation and natural lighting with the RAL quality seal for manufacture and installation of PVCu windows (can be seen at specialist dealer) - Weru certification: optimal results for every work step
All steps performed by Weru up to delivery of the products are documented, optimised and coordinated. (quality management system DIN EN ISO 9001:2015, energy management system DIN EN ISO 50001:2011)
